While it seems that ski season has just begun, it is already President’s Day weekend and skiing couldn’t be better!  Deer Valley has received over 25’ of snow so far this year and the town is hopping.

For the week leading up to President’s Day weekend I can’t recall ever seeing the town quite so full.  This, of course, makes the business owners in town and the condo owners extremely happy as condos, restaurants and shops are full of happy skiers.  This weekend officially starts the final push to the end of the ski season.  After the President’s Day holiday, it seems that we jump right into all of the spring breaks.

With the abundant snow and the warmer temperatures this is the time to book your spring trip to Park City.

The big news in real estate is the resurgence of new construction and new developments around town.  There are several new developments in the Deer Valley area:

One Empire Pass is a new condominium building consisting of 27 luxury ski-in/ski-out condos on the slopes of Deer Valley.  One Empire Pass broke ground last spring and should be ready for occupancy this coming Christmas.  One Empire Pass has one of the best amenity packages of any of the Deer Valley developments with slope-side pools, lounges, dining and recreation centers located within the building.  It is no wonder that this is already 50% sold.

A project that will be coming on this spring is the Empire Residences which will consist of 19 ski-in/ski-out condos.  The Empire Residences will be connected to the Talisker Club, which features the Tower Club, a ski-in/ski-out lounge on Deer Valley, the Mark O’Meara golf course just outside of town along with clubhouses, fitness centers and numerous other amenities.  Reservations for the Empire Residences will begin on February 28th.  Stay tuned for more information on this.

The third new project in Deer Valley is the Goldener Hirsch.  Golderner Hirsch will consist of 32 condos, slope-side at the Sliver Lake Village at mid-mountain in Deer Valley.  This will be part of the award winning Goldener Hirsch Inn, which has been a visitor’s and local’s favorite for many years.  Details are just coming out on this one but, as with the Empire Residences, I expect that the Goldener Hirsch will be breaking ground this spring with occupancy for the 2018/2019 ski season.  Come back frequently as details of these and other new developments in the Park City area emerge.
